Tank von Tanholm is a stunning 2 year old pure bred  German Shepherd with more of a plush coat. He lived in a home with cats for a short time and he was making progress. With a little work we think he would be fine with them. He has a silly sense of humor, he wants to play and is extremely good walking on a loose leash with no pulling. He is housebroken and doesn’t chew on anything he shouldn’t. He loves human food, we think someone cooked for him, but he can adjust to dog food. He has  a passion for cheese! His foster home said he LOVES children. He is very cuddly and loves belly-rubs. He knows some commands, “sit” and “down” and learned “stay” in his foster home. He loves plush toys and has a plush toy lion he loves and was very gentle with his "lion baby". Tank has an alarm bark that is really impressive. Tank, as with almost any shepherd, was pushing the boundaries a little after his first week in a home, so he needs a confident owner who would set some boundaries for him. All in all he is an amazing dog,he just needs the right home!
